The location was perfect, close to the Camino de Santiago and had great facilities for washing and drying. the Pilgrim Menu was delicious and the communal evening meal was a great way to meet other travellers. the rooms were comfortable and the building had a lot of character.
The lack of heating in early May was a major setback as it can get quite chilly in Northern Spain. there was no TV in the room and the advertised English-speaking staff was not available, which could be disappointing for some guests.
